Nothing makes you sound more British than using their own traditional sayings, which are full of knowledge and wisdom. But don't worry, traditional doesn't always mean old-fashioned! The cup of tea has been around for quite a while and it doesn't go old! You will impress more than one Brit for your knowledge of popular culture when dropping one of these, why don't you try?!

How are you? You OK?

I don't know about you, but as an English learner I have found myself thousands of times repeting the same phrases again and again every time they asked me the most common British question "How are you?"! It's so embarrassing! You know you seem like a parrot but still when that moment comes you just say that phrase that we all learnt in the school and makes you look so nice and polite "I'm fine, thank you, and you?" This doesn't need to happen again! Just learn these common answers and they will think you are so British as them!

British humour and riddles!

British humour is widely known for its particular taste of sarcasm, ambiguity and mockery of failure. We can see it in comedy films, they always laugh about themselves or about each others with the same show of non-offense intentionality. It helps to not take life too seriously! When travelling in a city bus or a train you will find that at least 5 out 10 conversations mention the weather!
